Back to my roots....

We spent last week taking our Christmas Vacation to North Carolina (since our real Christmas vacation was snowed out). It was an awesome time. We spent the week in Asheville, NC and also at Fontana Lake in Bryson City, NC. My sister and her husband just finished building a lake house and we took full advantage of it. Even had a little time for some famous Bojangles chicken and biscuits as well as a few other events....


did some kayaking...

got outskied by my 4.75 year old neice

and my 3 year old nephew

Just trying to keep up....haven't been waterskiing in over 2 years, not sure if snow skiing has helped me much?

Spent time with my mom and her family at the farm...

Papaw took the kids for a spin on the tractor...

We all took turns riding the jet ski dad just bought...

Did some horseback riding and hung out with my cousins Sarah and Savannah

Spent countless hours on the tube...

Did some mountain biking on the famous Tsali trails....located just a short boat ride accross the lake.

Had a family picnic including hanging out with 3 generations of "Tyree's"

And still managed to find some quality time with the wife!

Arn't these kids just adorable. They are growing so fast!
