I haven't had much time to train this spring, but it is always nice to stop by Wash Park on a 70+ degree day. One of the loops Dugan taught me. A great after work ride....just hope they finish the construction around Cherry Creek soon!

Back in the Powder Again!

After a slow snow start, Colorado has been hit with over 4 feet of powder in the last 2 weeks. Time to bring out the planks and enjoy Colorado's backcountry!

Been a while

Had a great dinner with our friends last night. Mom is in town visiting. Going to the parade of homes today and then the Rockies game tonight....

Back to my roots....

We spent last week taking our Christmas Vacation to North Carolina (since our real Christmas vacation was snowed out). It was an awesome time. We spent the week in Asheville, NC and also at Fontana Lake in Bryson City, NC. My sister and her husband just finished building a lake house and we took full advantage of it. Even had a little time for some famous Bojangles chicken and biscuits as well as a few other events....

Just trying to keep up....haven't been waterskiing in over 2 years, not sure if snow skiing has helped me much?

Spent time with my mom and her family at the farm...

Papaw took the kids for a spin on the tractor...

We all took turns riding the jet ski dad just bought...

Did some horseback riding and hung out with my cousins Sarah and Savannah

Spent countless hours on the tube...

Did some mountain biking on the famous Tsali trails....located just a short boat ride accross the lake.

Had a family picnic including hanging out with 3 generations of "Tyree's"

And still managed to find some quality time with the wife!

Arn't these kids just adorable. They are growing so fast!

Memorial Day Weekend

Was the bomb. 3 days - no work. I spent 4+hrs each day on the bike and spent the rest of the time chillin with the wife. Slept late on Monday and went out to eat at the EggShell in Cherry Creek.....great breakfast, but a southern boy like me has to have biscuits and gravy (which are not of the menu). Spent most of the morning shopping for some new furniture and accessories with the wife. Found some cool stuff at Z Gallery at the Cherry Creek mall. And finally got my TV room set up downstairs, so I'll be ready for the tour de france and rainy days on the trainer.

Cherry Creek Time Trial # 7 2007

Was cancelled.....this spring has been crazy. We started off with tons of snow and now we are getting buckets of rain. They actually had to cancel the Time Trial tonight because of the weather. Bummer, as I finally feel like I a starting to get my legs. Oh well, it just means that another year of the TT has gone by and yet again I failed to reach the top 20 and score any points. So, overall I finished 38th. I am currently in the hunt for a TT rig for next year....
