On top of the world - 14,433 Feet

Doug, Rob, Phillip, me, and Jim
.....Or at least the highest point in Colorado. On July 20th, we set out to hike colorado's highest mountain, Mt. Elbert. It is one of Colorado's 53 (Some people say there are 58 total) mountains taller than 14,000 feet....e.g. 14er This was our annual trip to send off the Critical Care Specialty Resident and welcome the incoming resident. A good day with some good friends/co-workers. We made the 8.5 mile loop with 4.650 feet of climbing without casualties, and even made time to stop by the Rosie's Brew Pub in leadville for some good food and homemade brews....This brew pub claims it is the highest brewery in North America.....And I have found that beer tastes good at any elevation :)

Is there anyone clean in cycling?

Or are there just those who don't get caught?????? I have always been one to give a cyclist the benefit of the doubt. I know they spend hours and hours training their bodies to endure unbelievable pain and endurance.
I stood by Tyler Hamilton, when he said he didn't do it and got hosed. Now Floyd may be stripped of his Tour de France win???? Today they released that he not only had a high testosterone to epitestosterone ratio but had synthetic testosterone in his system. I guess I am just another naive sole hoping that my heros are truly that, and not dopers!
