Celebrating the life of a Great Man

Jack Justice
Unfortunately, death is a fate we will all meet one day. Luckily it is not our death, but our life that defines us. Jack Justice was a WWII Veteran, accomplished businessman, town mayor, excellent father, devoted husband, and a defining image of the great town of Pittsboro, North Carolina.
Jack Justice was my wife's grandfather. Unfortunately, he passed away after a long battle with end stage lung disease. We went back to NC to spend time with the family and help lay Mr. Justice to rest. It was good to see the family, but this is never the reason you want to bring everyone together.
I am glad I got to know Jack Justice, I just wish I would have known him in his younger days when his health was good. It is never easy to see a man with a great mind, having to live with a debilitating disease that eats away at the rest of the body. Damn cigarettes!

Victory at Last!!!

The swift cycling team Category 4 men racers got their first victory of the year at the Hugo RR, and moved into 3rd place in the best all around team. For full details go here. Congratulations to Casey Dugan and the rest of the team members on a great performance. Sorry I missed this one.
For now I am looking at being back to racing form in July. Look for more racing results coming soon!
