Hut Trip This Weekend

Dugan, Steve, Dan, and I are heading to the Colorado backcoutry this weekend. We will start our adventure on Vail pass, and will be staying at the Fowler-Hilliard hut Friday and Saturday nights, then Janet's Cabin Sunday night.

The Vail area just got 7 inches of fresh powder, so we will be watching the avalanche report carefully. Should still be some safe powder skiing opportunities around.

I'll give you the full report next week, so stay tuned!

We ran into some snowboarders in Blue Sky Basin that had found a nice kicker. I happened to get a sweet launch off of it and one of the snowboarders caught me in a pic. What do you know, but I got an email from him with the pic attached today. Thanks to Joe Woods! Nothing like making a few random friends on the slopes. Great times in Vail.

Man Trip this Weekend

Six of us set off this Friday for the ultimate man trip. Dugan has rounded up a crew of cronies for this adventure. We are heading to Vail on Friday. I'll update this post with the good stuff when I return. It should be an adventure!!!
