Job Interview

I interviewed for an Assistant Professor position at the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy on Thursday and Friday. It was a bit stressful since this was a position I really wanted, but it was also somewhat comforting since I already new everyone that interviewed me.
To make a long story short.....I GOT THE JOB!!!! So it looks like Jennifer and I will be in Denver for several years to come and that is great with us! So family and friends, start planning your visits to Denver, it doesn't look like we will be moving back to NC in the near future.....but we would never rule out the possibility. Don't worry, I'll never forget the good times and good friends.

Ty and Nathan

Can you believe they trust this guy to shape the minds of future pharmacists? I would suggest you try not to get sick in the next 20-30 years ;)
At the "Farm House" (our house in college) in Chapel Hill. Jonathan, Austin, Ty, Robbie, Nathan, Greg...now that spells trouble
By the way....Rehab is for quitters!

Jumping and Rails - A few bruises, but no major injuries

This is always a lot of fun....unfortunatley it is also a good way to get hurt. The teenagers make it look so easy....me on the other hand, well, I guess I will let you be the judge :)
This rail was about 6 feet high (okay, so that is an exageration - about 2 feet high). A little squirrely, but came off with end alive!
WoooHoooo!

Bobby's Visit

One of my best buds growing up in Waynesville, NC left his 8.5 month pregnant wife in Chicago and ventured out to Denver to do some skiing over the weekend. I great bachelor weekend before he starts his fatherhood quest.
We spent 2 days skiing in Vail. The weather was beautiful, so the skiing was nice even though we didn't have much new snow.
Here are some pics of Bobby going over the cornice on Iron Mask in Blue Sky Basin.....

Don't worry he finally stopped when he hit the bottom!
